Why Volunteers For Palestine?
Volunteering for Palestine is more than just an opportunity to give back. It is a chance to stand in solidarity with a community facing decades of adversity. By volunteering, you become part of a global movement pursuing justice, peace, and human rights for Palestinians. Your skills, whether in education, healthcare, humanitarian aid, tech, or advocacy, can be used to directly support individuals and families who have been impacted by conflict and occupation. Volunteering with us offers a unique opportunity to make a real, tangible difference through vetted organizations as committed to this cause as you are - all while deepening your understanding of Palestinian culture, history, and resilience. It's a chance to not only help but to connect, learn, and join the growing chorus of voices calling for a just future for Palestine.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower volunteers from around the world to support Palestinian communities through humanitarian, educational, and social initiatives. By fostering collaboration, providing resources, and facilitating direct engagement, we aim to contribute to sustainable development, amplify Palestinian voices, and promote a just and lasting peace.
Our Vision
A world where solidarity, compassion, and humanity transcend borders, enabling the people of Palestine to live in peace, dignity, and self-determination, supported by a global network of volunteers committed to justice and equality.
Vetting & Transparency
We take trust and security seriously. Every organization listed on our platform goes through a review process before being visible to volunteers. Here is how it works:
- Application Review — Every project submitted to VFP starts with a status of Under Review. Our team verifies the organization's identity, mission, and legitimacy before changing it to Approved. Organizations that do not meet our standards are Rejected.
- Community — Approved organizations marked as Community have been submitted by community members and passed our initial review.
- Vetted — Organizations marked as Vetted have undergone a deeper verification process, including cross-referencing with established databases and partner organizations.
- Ongoing Monitoring — We track the progress of each organization on our platform. Organizations may be tagged as Needs Help, Healthy, or Idle based on their activity and volunteer feedback.
